The Class of 2009!
Here we are at Bald Peak Park watching the sunset! On the left is my roomie Alyssa and on the right is my new friend Nikki. We are all nursing students and have had a blast getting to know each other. So, I thought I would take this opportunity to share with you all some highlights of being a nursing student: Having a class at 6:30AM, wearing uniforms, having stylish white shoes, getting to play around with stethoscopes, and having a guaranteed job after graduating from college!
Sunset of the Week
So it was Friday and we (Alyssa, Carmen, Nikki, Rachel and I) took off from campus to watch the sunset from the "hill." Actually, it was a state park that overlooks the valley. It was so beautiful up there! We got some great pics and had a amazing time admiring the beauty of God's creation. Just what we all needed after a long week of classes.

My Top Ten...
...Reasons why I love Molalla:
#10: Molalla is sooo fun to say.
#9: People have accents, yes it is true. I call them hic-cents.
#8: We have our own rodeo! (Mhmm, it is all about the cowboys! :)
#7: People leave their Christmas lights on all-year round.
#6: We have--get this--the one and only Fred's Food-o-Mart!
#5: We have a festival dedicated to an exotic fruit...the APPLE!
#4: The best restaurant in town, The Farmstead!! Tip your servers!

And the number ONE Reason why I love my town...
#1: I am the only one who knows whats wrong with this sign...and that's sayin' a lot!
Queen of the Wild Frontier
Well, I am still in Molalla, but not for long. I am leaving next Sunday for the land of Newberg, where the people actually have all their teeth. It will take some getting used to, but I am up for the challenge.
My Beloved Monster and Me
My family can always tell when I am chatting with this girl...I suppose it is because our laughter is constantly reaching new decibels. My mom refers to it as the "Maggie Chuckle". I am really going to miss my constant companion when I go off to college. Late night coffee breaks, speaking spanish (residue from our internships in the Dominican Republic), making silly videos as if we were obsessed with ourselves, or rolling on the floor of whoever's house we happen to be gracing with our laughter at the moment....
Although most of our adventures have originated in the DR, Molalla, Hubbard, or Costco, neither of us have any doubt about fun to be had in Newberg.
